Communications and Public Relations Committee Purpose & Responsibilities

PURPOSE: The purpose of the Communications and Public Relations Committee is to gather and provide information to our members and the public.
MEMBERSHIP: Membership is comprised of Chairs of GBAR’s Communications and Public Relations Committee’s subcommittees and task groups and is also open to GBAR members.
  • To keep REALTORS® informed and up to date on industry events and changes.
  • To increase and improve public awareness of GBAR
  • Oversee Associations website.
  • Oversee REALTOR Review and other forms of communication.
  • Review & approve reports of subcommittees and task groups.
  • Forward motions of subcommittees and task groups to BOD for approval.
REPORTS TO: Board of Directors
SUBCOMMITTEES: Affiliate Council, Community Service, Program & Banquets.
TASK GROUPS: REALTOR/Appraiser, REALTOR/Banker, REALTOR/Builder, REALTOR/Inspector, REALTOR/Lawyer and Equal Opportunity.
