PURPOSE: The purpose of the Awards Committee is to oversee awards presented by GBAR.
MEMBERSHIP:
Last 4 REALTOR® of the Year Award winners, willing & available. Last 2 Affiliate of the Year Award Winners, willing & available. Last 2 Distinguished Service or Distinguished Achievement Award Winners, willing & available. Last 1 Volunteer of the Year Award Winner or 1 former winner selected by President-elect. The Chairperson is to be selected from these Members by president-elect.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To review applications for awards sent in by members.
- To review and approve GBAR Honor Society applications.
- To review and forward NYSAR Honor Society applications
- To present certificates for the above.
- To select award winners from applications.
- To prepare and present awards.
- To advise Membership of award winners.
- To identify the awards categories to be presented
- To create new awards as needed
- To revise and restructure applications as needed
