History - The Greater Binghamton Association of REALTORS®, Inc. is a trade association of professionals in real estate and related industries united to provide excellence in real estate services to consumers and each other. A member Association of the National Association of Realtors and the New York State Association of Realtors, the Association was formed in 1918 and chartered by the National Association of REALTORS® in 1920. 

Mission - The mission of the Greater Binghamton Association of REALTORS®, Inc. is to provide the necessary technical, educational and human resources to support and enhance our members’ ability to excel in their profession; to promote and enforce the Code of Ethics and to serve the communities in which we live and work.

Community Service - The Association has a rich tradition of member dedication and volunteerism to improve and promote the quality of life for all in our community. We frequently work in cooperation with other service organizations to broaden the scope of these efforts.

Multiple Listing Service - Computerized network through which listing brokers make offers of compensation and cooperation to all other participants in the system.

Professional Standards - Members of the Greater Binghamton Association of REALTORS®, Inc. subscribe to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®, which promotes the highest standards of conduct in the real estate profession. The Grievance and Professional Standards committees oversee enforcement of the Code of Ethics and provide member arbitration services and a forum for prompt resolution of disputes.
