Real Estate School

The Greater Binghamton Association of REALTORS® Real Estate School is licensed in the State of New York to provide Real Estate Salesperson and Broker Pre-Licensing Courses, as well as REALTOR® Designation and Certification Courses, and Continuing Education Courses for Licensed Salesperson and Brokers.

Becoming a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in New York State requires the successful completion of a 77-Hour Pre-Licensing Course and Exam, passing a second exam administered by the New York State Division of Licensing Services, and Application to the Department of State for Licensing.

Becoming a Licensed Real Estate Broker requires fulfillment of the New York State Real Estate Salesperson requirements, the successful completion of a 45-Hour Pre-Licensing Course and Exam, passing a second exam administered by the New York State Division of Licensing Services, and Application to the Department of State for Licensing.

Already a licensed salesperson or broker? Classroom REALTOR® Designation and Certification Courses are available in specialty areas of the real estate profession. Licensed salespersons and brokers in New York State are required to complete 22.5 hours of continuing education for each 2-year licensing period.
