The New York State Association of REALTORS’ 2015 Fall Business Meetings will be held Sunday, October 4 through Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino, Verona, NY.

1. Login to https://nysarportal.ramcoams.net. Your username is 9-digit NRDS number and your password is your last name. Please be aware that it is case sensitive. From the "Events" dropdown menu, select "Upcoming Meetings" and then follow the instructions on the page to continue.
2. Fax this registration form as per the provided instructions.

On-site Registration
Please visit NYSAR's on-site registration desk located in the Conference Center Preassembly to check in and receive your name badge and final agenda. Attendees who purchased tickets to the RPAC Trivia Night fundraiser will receive them upon check-in.

Top 10 Changes to FHA SF Handbook 4000.1: To attend this appraiser course, you are required to pre-register by September 30 and an additional $50 fee applies. Three hours appraiser and real estate CE pending.
Legal Update: All are welcome to attend, but to receive a free boxed lunch, you must pre-register by September 30.

All attendees are encouraged to attend this interactive session to discuss industry issues and trends. Speaker details will follow.
Instructor Developement Program Sunday, 1:30-3 p.m. Designed for NYSAR and local board faculty, Brian McKenna, Ph.D. will present “Generation Now” about best practices, relevant research and strategies for recruiting, training and retaining Millennials as REALTORS and as clients and customers. McKenna is passionate about the real estate profession and captivated by the potential profit and pitfalls presented by Generation Y. Pre-registration is required to attend.
Top 10 Changes to FHA SF Handbook 4000.1
(3 hours of real estate & appraiser CE pending)
Sunday, 2-5 p.m.
Attend this hands-on course for comprehensive guidance through the resources of the FHA handbook and how to find each protocol required for the appraisal process. The top 10 changes to the manual will be covered and you’ll leave with a better understanding of its requirements. Plus, you’ll learn how to educate your sellers and buyers when it comes to the FHA property requirements and what the appraiser is looking for. Pre-registration is required and an additional $50 fee applies.
Communications & Marketing Forum
Sunday, 3:30-5 p.m.
Nobu Hata, NAR’s director of member engagement, will present “The State of Real Estate Marketing.” The definition of real estate lead generation, marketing and post-transaction touch-points are evolving as consumer-centric thinking rises around the real estate industry. Learn emerging consumer and technology trends influencing buyer/seller sentiment and how REALTORS and brokers can build trust around a value proposition for business today, into tomorrow.
President’s Reception
Sunday, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
All attendees are welcome to attend the opening night’s President’s Reception for networking, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Technology Forum
Monday, 8-10 a.m.
The amount of shiny toys that a REALTOR can put into their arsenal is endless, but which tools actually matter? Nobu Hata, NAR’s director of member engagement, will share practical tips and tricks to integrate new school techniques into old school business practices for a future-proof real estate business and marketing machine.
YPN Meeting
Monday, 11:30-12:30 p.m.
Young (and young at heart) professionals will gather for idea-sharing about successful YPN activities and their efforts to become more involved in the local, state and national associations.

General Session
Monday, 2-3:30 p.m.
This must-attend session will include President Mike Smith’s State of the Association address, the announcement of the 2015 REALTOR of the Year and 2015 GRI graduates. Plus, Bob Bemis of Procuring Cause Advisors will provide a broad-based presentation of the many issues facing REALTOR boards and MLSs today, along with perhaps his personal views on what options are open to REALTORS when planning to deal with those issues.

Self-Defense for REALTORS
Tuesday, 7:30-8:30 a.m.
Learn how to be prepared to defend yourself using simple to master and easy to remember techniques you can readily use, if the need arises. The techniques provide protection and instill strength to help protect you from harm. Pre-registration is required and comfortable clothes are recommended.
Legislative Policy Forum
Tuesday, 8:30-10 a.m.
All attendees are welcome to attend this timely session where NAR Senior Counsel Finley Maxson will present “TRID: Changes to the Mortgage Closing Process.” Don’t miss this chance to learn about changes to the RESPA/Truth In Lending disclosures, their timing and the impact on real estate professionals.
Regional Caucuses
Tuesday, 3-4 p.m.
All attendees are encouraged to participate in their regional caucus, facilitated by the Regional Vice President (RVP), to share details about the committee meetings attended that week in preparation for Wednesday’s Board of Directors Meeting.
