PURPOSE: The purpose of the Bylaws Committee is to review, on an on going basis, the Bylaws of GBAR and draft changes at the request of the Board of Directors or mandated by the National Association of REALTORS®.
MEMBERSHIP: Membership is open to GBAR REALTOR® Members. One voting member of the committee must also be a current member of the Board of Directors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To maintain the Bylaws in such condition as to best serve the goals and objectives of the Greater Binghamton Association of REALTORS®, Inc.
- To maintain the Bylaws so that requirements are clearly stated.
- To maintain the Bylaws to insure that they remain consistent with the policies of the New York State Association of REALTORS®, Inc. and National Association of REALTORS
- To maintain the Bylaws in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws.
