It has come to our attention that some REALTOR members are replacing pages in our standard GBAR contract after the execution of the contract by both parties. The contract clearly states in the heading that any changes after the execution of the contract by both parties are to be initialed and dated by the parties. It is a dangerous practice to replace pages in contracts for a number of reasons. The validity and enforceability of the contract may be called into question. Agents should simply not engage in the practice. Please call me with any questions. Thank you.
