Greater Binghamton REALTORS® live and breathe our motto, “Believing in Our Community”. REALTORS® take action, both individually and as an Association, to proactively support both the economic and social health of our community.
REALTORS® are frequently the voice representing homeowners, advocating at the National, State and Local levels on important issues such as retaining the mortgage interest deduction or keeping the cost of flood insurance affordable. REALTORS® also fight to keep State and Local Officials from increasing taxes on the real estate transaction. They also sound the call for property tax relief for homeowners.
Greater Binghamton REALTORS® are at the forefront of serving the community in which we live and work. REALTOR® volunteer efforts and monetary contributions focus on serving those in need in our Community. Whether it be volunteer help and financial assistance for flood victims, or support for kids with serious illnesses, or sending care packages to local men and women serving in the Armed Forces overseas, community support initiatives have always been an integral element of our mission as an organization. In 2012, our efforts were recognized by the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce when we were named Greater Binghamton's “Community Advocate of the Year”.
